Things That Should Be Added to Animal Jam

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

I've been a bit uninspired about posting lately >.< I think I'll just use this blog when the mood strikes me. This'll probably mean infrequent posts, so be prepared.

On an exciting note, there's been an enormous blizzard along the east coast, and I haven't had school for nearly two weeks! :D It's like winter break, but BETTER, because there's actually snow! :p

Now, onto the main topic of the post. I thought I'd talk about some features that would make AJ more fun- or at least more playable.

1. Pet Ladybugs

Seriously, why not? The ladybug is prominently featured in a lot of Animal Jam videos. I'm not sure why they haven't made it their mascot or something by this point.

2. Easily Accessible International Servers

This way, people of all different languages can mingle and become buddies. It'll give Jammers an opportunity to brush up on foreign languages, too. ^.^ There could also be a server where you type something in your native language and it translates into whatever language you set the translator to.

3. A new land.

It would be easy to expand the map, and there's plenty of room.

'Nuff said.

4. More things to do in Kimbara.

For some reason, this land totally flopped. Everyone avoids it as if it were infected with the plague (which isn't actually all too bad to get today, but still). Maybe add a theater, or a minigame that allows you to make some kind of themed food. ANYTHING.

5. More items in Treetop Gardens.

This is possibly my favorite shop. <3 Please, ADD MORE PLANTS.

Clover Blanket

There are now two versions of the Clover Blanket: member and nonmember.

I wonder what AJHQ was thinking... o.e

There is also a new hideously sparkly, expensive RIM!

Blehhh. What use do pixelated animals have for expensive platform shoes? Especially expensive platform shoes with terrible color palettes! Green and purple just don't go together. :p

Goats, the Predictable New Animal

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

As you may have seen in the latest edition of the Jamaa Journal, the new soon-to-be-released animal is the goat.

Oooh. GREAT. :I

This is such a mediocre animal. Who would someone waste 10 diamonds that they paid ACTUAL money for on a GOAT??? It is literally a FARM ANIMAL with a weird little PIXELATED BEARD. LITERALLY NO ONE WANTS A GOAT. Release something INTERESTING, like a flying squirrel! Or an armadillo! Or a lemur! OR EVEN A SQUID! How will the goats even DANCE??? It'll just look weird and awkward! Please, spare us the pain. Choose something more original than a goat.

Not that it'll make a tad of difference that I spent a paragraph ranting.

Now, onto a less passive-aggressive topic. Namely, the new adventure!

Oooh. So very pink.

You go around, stuffing letters into little mailboxes with hearts on them. Not the best adventure, but you do get some pretty cool items from it.

My personal favorite is the tiny crimson door.

Will the New Animal be a GOAT?

In the latest edition of the Jamaa Journal, there's a paragraph talking about how a new animal's going to be released, and that hints about the animal are in the JJ itself!

Hmm, wonder what it could be. :3

I flipped through the pages and found that in the top right corner, there's a letter! Here's how they look (in order):

I really hope that the new animal isn't a goat, when it could be something more interesting. Like a sugar glider, or a stingray! Both of those animals are adorable and would probably look pretty good in pixel form. <3

FIRST POST OF THE NEW YEAR!

Hallo! ^.^

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO ALL OF YOU!

Last year was a strange one. It was full of inside jokes, mishaps, and even some personality development! It's kind of cool to see the subtle, positive ways that my life has changed. :D

Here's a handful of cool things that I don't regret doing this year:

• Sharing a poem I wrote with shockingly supportive classmates.
• Working on a story about ghost and human interaction 8D
• Feeding a bunch of sheep, goats, and other farm animals hay. This happened on several different occasions, weirdly enough.
• Making two new friends.
• Getting a pair of pearl earrings, which I'm currently wearing! <3
• Taking my dog on several walks.
• Running in the rain during an extracurricular and getting completely soaking.

All in all, it's been a pretty good year, despite some minor incidents. I hope that this year is an even better one, not just for me, but for all of my friends, family members, and the random nice people I haven't met.

Some items that have recently come out (though I'm not sure when) are the 2016 banner and Infinity Glasses.

Nice! Glad that the tradition of releasing a banner's continuing. ^o^

This items is kind of strange. I don't really see what use they could be to anyone, unless they're pretending to be a mad scientist. o.o
