Hallo, Jammers! ^.^
Today's my first day of school... *groans loudly* Let's hope that I make it out alive. ;w;
Today's new item is the colorful, intricate Graham Portrait!
I actually rather like this item. It matches his personality and everything! The tiny gems embedded in the wood are exactly like the ones in his alpha picture, and it even has a tiny key like the one dangling from his tail!
Oh, and speaking of the alphas- yesterday I decided to delve into the history of Jamaa and explore the beta days! ^-^
While I was doing that, I compared the Alphas back then to how they appear now, and there is a huge difference!
Back then, they were called the shamans (I think that's the plural form... I hope). They were dedicated to protecting Jamaa from all threats of evil, especially the phantoms.
Now, here's a quick comparison of the shamans to the alphas!
(All picture credits go to various sources on Google Images; I own none of them)
Greely:
He looks quite a bit older, doesn't he? o.o And for some reason, he doesn't have a pupil in his milky-looking right eye. He probably can't see very well with that, yikes!
Modern Greely. ^.^ He's one of the few alphas who I like better in their modern forms, but somehow his ruby monocle has mysteriously vanished! :o He looks very brooding and mysterious in this picture, doesn't he?
Peck:
Cute, fluffy beta peck- d'aww. <3 Adorable and completely likeable, right? She looks just the right amount of artistic, without being too human-ey.
Enter weird-looking, alltogether insane modern Peck. >.< I have to say, this is the transformation that I dislike the most. And look- she's even sticking out her tongue! That can be rather rude, and it makes her look very unintelligent...
Cosmo:
Cosmo looks rather old and gnarled. But the bird perching on his cane adds a nice touch. ^-^
Modern Cosmo actually looks fairly okay in this picture. Phew! :'D The only thing is, that isn't the... er... most attractive angle of his face, as he looks rather 2D. o.o But still, he's a great deal better. And he looks lots younger!
Sir Gilbert:
Beta Sir Gilbert looks fine, aside from his strange-looking eyes. He's also wearing ruby rings on his paws, which is a very... er... interesting touch.
Wait, is he... bowing? But he's an alpha! I'm pretty okay with his transformation, though. The cape looks very epic and fluttery. >:D
Lisa:
Lisa looks okay, but very panda-like. :3 I also think that the tribal paint on her face is a great touch, and the patterning of her robe/dress is just C:
Hmm, a bit too human-ey if you ask me. But I guess you didn't. X3
She doesn't look TOO bad... not as horrible as Peck. A bit girly, though. And what's with the purple eyes and long eyelashes? I didn't think that pandas had eyelashes.
Graham:
Eh, Graham looks okay. Aside from the fact that his smile is a bit creepy, as well as his teeth being yellow... o-o And his form and posture are both a bit humanlike, don'tcha think?
I like Graham better this way, honestly. c: He's more detailed, and... well, more like a monkey. I wonder what the key that's hanging from his tail is for? Maybe it's used to unlock some contraption of his!
Oh, and I'd almost forgotten- look at what I found as I was exploring Jamaa!
That's right; a cute little flowerpot! ^.^ The blue pot that it's sitting in reminds me of the one that the bonsai in Treetop Gardens is planted in, for some reason...
Who do you think put it there, and for what purpose?
Ciao!
I prefer the new Greely, the old Peck, the old Cosmo, the new Sir Gilbert, idk about Liza, and idk about Graham, either.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think that potted plant was put there... to make everything more plant-y! :D :D
Idk. :P
I am creepred out that liza is symmetrical on both sides O,O ( in the pic shes holding her leg back with the hair waving) but otherwize she would be symmetrical... Freaky!
ReplyDeleteI Like both versions of greely, I liek the old peck, the old liza, the old graham, the new cosmo, the new sir gilbert
graham needs to brush his teeth
