Princess Chair/Monarch Chair

Hallo, Jammers!

I couldn't post earlier this morning. I always find myself with a lack of time and interest when it's early. Anyways, today's item is the odd Princess Chair.

400 gems... not too pricey, but it's yet another Member Item. .-.

Well, I don't think that nonmembers will be missing out on too much with this one... though it is handy if you want to pretend to be a monarch and boss around your plushies.

I think that Pilgrim might be enjoying the idea just a bit too much, though. XD

Oh, and snowyclaw's blog alerted me to this weird phenomena:

You become totally frozen! My bunny looks rather chilly now. Maybe some hot cocoa would warm her up? (My personal favorite is peppermint.)

RIM--- Rare Gardening Hat.

Hallo, Jammers!

Today's RIM is the shiny golden Gardening Hat, on the third page of Jam Mart Clothing. :3

Pricey for a hat, but not for an RIM. Oh, and member. Of course. >.<

I know that there is a 'non-rare' version because I have, or had that hat, but the color was a pale lilac. Hmm, let me check. -sifts through inventory-

Oh, here it is. It's very floppy. I can't even see Juniper's eyes over the droopy brim! This version is actually member too. Like 79.9% of the items on Animal Jam are member these days, but I suppose I see why. At least there's more equality than Club Penguin. MUCH more, in fact. In Club Penguin, everything has these annoying little golden 'Member' locks, even the codes. And when you click on it, an annoying advertisement pops up that's like: JOIN CLUB PENGUIN AS AN OFFICIAL MEMBER! GET ALL THESE GREAT FEATURES! And then you get a membership.

On Moshi Monsters, there's actually a LOT of equality, except your pets are locked up. Bleh. :(

Moshi Monsters is a smidgeon too young, now, especially because they changed the characters to look like paper cut-outs.

See? Point proven. -shudder-

I don't see how making everything look like it was oddly drawn and making their heads be 3 times the size of their bodies makes the game better, but... oh well.

Heart Couch. o3o

Hallo, Jammers!

Today's item is the flat Heart Couch... which reminds me of a cot, for some reason. A very pink cot speckled with hearts. o3o

Animal Jam seems to love Valentine's.

Sooo many hearts. And so much pink. It's almost blinding!

Valentine's has never been my favorite holiday, for some reason. I have very bad luck on Valentine's day, including the time when my mom was driving me to an appointment before school and the door froze overnight and wouldn't close all the way. The door alarm was beeping furiously through the whole time that we were driving!

Then I couldn't have a single thing at school because there were some macadamia nut cookies, and... nevermind. XD

I'm sure my bad luck is boring you readers out of your minds.
But something like that seems to happen every single year. >.<

Speaking of holidays, the super bowl is blaring loudly and annoyingly from the TV. It's kind of hard to concentrate while random slips of music and talking are alternating loudly a few feet away from you. Sigh.

Even in Animal Jam, the Super Bowl is everywhere. 

More? Nuuu!

Agh. Those screenshots were literally taken of three different people in a period of five minutes.

And I have a question: are you planning to go anywhere during the spring break? I'm going to Florida. It's so serene and humid there. Warm, humid, and breezy is my favorite kind of weather, maybe with a drizzle of rain.

Hehe, I told you I was an amphibian. >:D

I'm sorry for my sudden disappearance. I've had tons of work and tests.
Finally, I have time to post. But, I probably fractured my ankle banging it accidentally on the backboard of my bed. ;-;
Anyways, today's item is...

the lovely Heart Locket! I get these from Sky High, and there's a shiny RIM version now, if I recall. One of my buddies said that most of her outfits have Heart Lockets. They're kind of perfect for an occasion. :3
I wonder why the default is purple, though? In real life, the most common colors are gold and silver. Here's some random facts behind the history of lockets:

• During the 1870s, a large heavy locket in silver or gold was a fashion necessity. Portraits of women from this time almost always show them wearing a locket at the throat, attached with a heavy gold chain or velvet ribbon. Even children at this time wore tiny heart shaped or round lockets.
• Lockets were often sold at POST OFFICES. O.O 
• People put pictures of those who they care about in their lockets. Well, almost everyone knows this. It isn't hard to remember, as lockets often have a heart shape....
