I've been sitting here and gnashing my teeth, trying to figure out how to write this post.

No, I didn't drop off of a cliff, or get devoured by man-eating sharks. I was taking a very, very long break- and now I've returned to the AJ blogging world.

Today's present is this very lovely, but slightly... peculiar hat.

Wear it if you want your head to look like a festive, flaming advent. That is all. XP

Also, has anyone noticed this little critter on the new login page?

Is it a wombat? Lemur? Raccoon?? o.e Whatever it is, it's definitely a cute little critter.

Chinese New Year Party Guide

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

There's a new party that's recently been released: the Chinese New Year party! 

The enterance is in a nice bambooey area with a lil' pond next to it. :3

There's a shop where you can buy assorted Chinese New Year items.

*clicks*

My personal favorite is the hanging monkey lanterns. They're nice and glowy. I also kind of like the monkey statue, as it looks to be made of jade. Here's what this precious gemstone looks like irl:

There's a little stand with tasty foods. It looks like there are dumplings, vegetables, clementines, and some weird type of bread?? Maybe?

There's also an area that you can watch the fireworks from! :D

Or, if you prefer, you can watch from the waterfall.

What do you guys think of this party? I like it, but I'd also like the Leap Year Party to return, since this year IS a leap year. Come on, AJHQ! *crosses fingers*

Return of the Carnival, a New Den, and More!

I've had a hectic week crammed full of tests. What about you?

Since today's Thursday, we have a new edition of the Jamaa Journal.

The Friendship Cottage... sounds interesting. Probably in the Diamond Shop, though. :/ Lemme check.

It's very... err.... heart-themed.

Not my style, personally. :U

The Summer Carnival has also returned for two weeks! 

Well, that's very unexpected. Maybe this summer there'll be new items to replace the old ones. Everything's on sale, so it's possible. :3

Ooh, a new party! Finally! :DD

I'll try to visit it ASAP and have another party guide up sometime this week. Although... the fact that only monkeys can visit sounds kind of like a ploy to get people to buy monkeys.

<.< I'm celebrating the "Friendship Festival" with my buddies by not doing anything! Seriously, Valentine's Day is overrated. Especially the Animal Jam version.

Friendship Party 2016

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

The sickeningly pink Friendship Party has returned, right on the first day of February! You spawn into a little green area strewn with pink petals. There's a tiled circle that doesn't really serve a purpose off to the side.

The main building is also nauseatingly pink. Blehh >.<

There's also a hideous, broken-heart shaped rug.

And a hideous holographic projection of a heart, for some reason...

Here's the shop area, complete with all tons of heart memorabilia.

Here are the pointless new items! I definitely won't be buying these, but whatever floats your boat. :p
