Advent #31- Zios Ice Statue

Today's advent is totally new, something that's never been released before: The Zios Ice Staue! :o

I love it! <3 It looks a bit like it's from beta.

Yesterday, a few Jammers discovered that if you repeatedly type "HAMMER," this happens to the speech bubble:

Of course, everyone started insanely typing "HAMMER"--- including me. c:<

"Nonrare" items that I completely love for no reason.

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

Since I'm not in the mood for a full-blown item post, I decided I'd talk about something a little different today! c:

We all have those precious items that we love despite their lack of rarity. We unfailingly place them in our dens or on our animals, nestled amongst the more valuable items. <3

(Note: that image was NOT meant to brag on the amount of rare items I possess. >.< I just thought it was an interesting visual to go with the topic.)

Here are a few of my favorite items of all time that aren't considered "rare" or valuable:

• Berets
• Jamaaliday Earmuffs
• Galoshes (they look p cool on foxes, but weird on all of the other animals) 
• Camouflage Jackets
• Topcoats
• Rare Skinny Lamps (this item is slightly rare, I suppose, but not many people like them and/or will trade massive amounts of rare items for them)
• Koi Ponds
• Vanity and Mirror (some people have complained they're too humaney, but I personally think they're nice)
• Bird Feeder
• Tea Party Table
• Yellow Diner Tiles
• Acorn Tea Set

And the list goes on and on.

I challenge you guys to name a few of your favorite "nonrare" items. I bet you'd be surprised at how many you can think of! ^-^

Advent #29- Anemone Head Bow + YESTERDAY'S RIM

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

Today's gift is the lovely Anemone Head Bow, my favorite underwater item of all time!

There's just something so appealing about this item. Maybe it's that you can't buy Anemone Head Bows in stores, so it's fun to collect them.

On another note, the RIM for yesterday was released--- late!

It looks much better on your animals than I thought it would, actually. Especially foxes.

Coral Corner

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

Today I'm going to be talking about a quaint little shop that was once open in Coral Canyons. Many people don't know of its existence.

It was called Coral Corner. Jammers would go there to purchase plants, pottery, and many other items. In fact, some of the things originally sold in Coral Corner can be seen scattered around the Forgotten Desert today!

They can even be won by playing the Forgotten Desert. I currently have a few in my den. ^-^

Unfortunately, Coral Corner was closed in late July 2011 and replaced with the Den Shop. Many Jammers speculate that AJHQ didn't see the point of keeping both Treetop Gardens and Coral Corner open, as they were so similar in theme. After Coral Corner closed, a few of the items that were originally sold there were released again in Treetop Gardens, their prices higher than before.

Do you think that AJHQ should have kept Coral Corner?

Advent #28- Diamond & Icicle Lights, DISAPPEARING RIM??

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

Today's advents are quite nice! A diamond and the glittery, incandescent Icicle Lights.

Honestly, the Icicle Lights are one of the best gifts so far. They're so pretty and well-done! :D There's not just one shade of blue, but several shades of blue: watery teal, navy blue, pale blue. It makes them look realistic, and not like globs of pixellated ice.

Now for the RIM. I looked EVERYWHERE, including in the underwater shops, and I just. Can't. Find it.

According to the DE, this item is called the "Rare Polka Dot Tuxedo." It's sort of hideous and clashy, so I don't mind not being able to buy it too much.

Let's note the total overuse of "emotions." The blushing face doesn't even make sense in that context! >:( Whoever Animal Jam's media supervisor is, they need to get a grip and stop drinking so much coffee.

Advent #27- Ice Cave

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

It seems like this blog's been abandoned for a long time now. I'm going to keep posting anyways, though, in hopes that some of the viewers will realize that this blog is still active and start reading it again.

On a less dismal note, we've got another advent for today: the Ice Cave!

Look at these two Jammers I spotted in the Temple of Zios:

The one on the right decided to tell the one on the left that he looked like a "fat brownie." That's sort of unflattering, isn't it? But still funny X3

Oh, and I gave my owl a total makeover. Now she looks slightly scary. "Edwing," you're probably thinking," how can a tiny, fuzzy, adorable owl be scary?"

Well, this is how. >:D

Advent #26- Poofy Rug & Winter Fire Pit Table

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

I hope that you've all had a great Christmas! Here's some of the random stuff that I got from my parents and other relatives:

• A mug with abstract flowers on it
• A shirt that's off-white with stitching across the arms
• Another shirt that's blue with horizontal bars of black and white going across it 
• DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES >:D
• A bag with leaves on it to store makeup and toiletries in (I don't use too much makeup, but it's still handy)
• Pearl earrings, which I am currently wearing
• My first pair of dangly earrings, which are light and have flowers on them
• Starry Night Pendant
• A pretty book on plants and animals and their anatomy
• A book on 50 famous people with illustrated facts about them

So, all and all, I'm very happy! :D

Today's advent item is the plush Poofy Rug!

I know I said this last year, but it looks a lot like the abominable snowman from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! owo

See? Isn't the resemblance uncanny?

In JMF, the Winter Fire Pit Table has returned!

Perfect for cooking a nice meal, surrounding by the ambiance of scary crackling flames. *shudder* I don't think that I'd be able to use this irl without burning myself.

Advent #25- Diamond & Holiday Sweater

Hallo, Jammers! ^.^

I'm up at 6:30, full of anticipation, for one reason: it's Christmas! :DD A very merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it!

Today's advent gifts are a Diamond and a Holiday Sweater!

Oh, I remember the Holiday Sweater from last year! It's the perfect ugly sweater, from the stitched snowman right down to the loose thread on the sleeve. (What's up with that thread, anyways? It looks kind of weird.)

A very strange glitch happened yesterday. At the Best Guessed Party, a LAND party, an invisible dolphin showed up! 

?!?!?

Also, when I tried to join another party, I couldn't because of the unfortunate 'O Minutes' glitch. 

*sigh*

Advent #24- Festive Lights

Hallo, Jammers! ^-^

I feel vaguely discombobulated this morning. I just had a weird dream involving a cruise ship, a birthday song, and playing pool. It was weird.

*cough* ANYWAYS.

Today's new item is the Festive Lights. Upon seeing this item, I was a bit confused. My line of reasoning was," They're jumbled up in a ball, so how can I use them to decorate my den?"

Then I realized they were a CLOTHING ITEM.

If you want your animal to look like it has tons of red burrs clinging to it, I would totally recommend this item! I think that it would look at least 10x better if the lights blinked different colors, instead of staying a consistent burgundy.

Also, there's the fact that this advent gift is a store item, but in slightly different colors.

Okay, AJHQ, what the heck. owo

Also, IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE. Who's excited for Christmas?? I definitely am.

Advent #23- Diamond & Gingerbread Wings

Oooh. :o Today we have a diamond (glittery) and Gingerbread Wings, which I'm fairly sure are returning. Not too shabby, AJHQ. :3

To get into a festive mood, please enjoy these very Christmassy gifts, which I found on Google.

I think that looking at Christmas-related things just makes the anticipation worse, so I'd better go before I add 50 more gifs.
